Stay with Daddy

We recently found it very difficult and not for the first time, to put our kids to bed. I was in late, the children had not seen me all day and my daughter said "we just want to stay with Daddy". As a follower of Jesus I often sense that the best option is not to strive or to listen to every voice or try and work in your own strength to change a situation but to simply desire to "stay with daddy"

We are a great work of grace, a masterpiece, seated with Christ in the heavenly places. We are called to do a great work – don’t be stopped by lowering yourself to the level of satan’s accusation.

You are more than the sum of your mistakes you are more than the product of your environment. You are more than just a representative or an ambassador you are a son and a joint heir with Jesus!

When we stop operating in dead works and rest in faith in God’s faithfulness - then Jesus can work on our behalf. Faith starts to operate when the will of Father God (Love) is known and the will of God is revealed through the Word, by the Holy Spirit. Let us settle the fact that God is good and we can trust Him with our lives.
